etched Remington with straight line stamping

etched Remington with straight line stamping

I thought that straight line stamped Remingtons were not as well finished as the older Remingtons. Seeing one with an etch makes me wonder if that was true. First one I've seen. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1930-S-OR-1940- ... 2ec36f5e4f

It is true that straight lined Remingtons were not quite up to par with circle Remingtons.
They are usually seen with a lower quality handle material, etc.
The one pictured looks nice. ::tu::
