SCHMIDT AND ZEIGLER

Can anyone provide information, year date of production and quantity produced, about the folowing knife?

Etched on master blade
SCHMIDT & ZEIGLER
STOCK KNIFE "EL TORO"

The knife is about 3 3/4" long with 3 blades and ivory handles. The pattern number is 7043. Solingen, Germany

The front handle shield has the standard upside down bull.
The back handle shield has double check marks.

I bought this knife new in the early to mid 1970's and have since misplaced the paperwork.
