What do you think? The blade looks really pitted. ebay# 130079162257
It looks like this seller has many knives that have been at the least cleaned and buffed.

After looking at many of the ones he is selling. I just wonder if the came from the Catrina flood and was under salt water to long. ::tear:: ::nod::

The lock doesn't work properly and its too pitted for my taste.

I spent many years as a gunsmith and that is a prime example of badly polished steel. The best part is how he refers to the blade as being "...in nice refurbished condition".

What a shame.
Today, I believe my jurisdiction ends here...

het, rmfnla there's only room gor one ex gunsmith on this sight! :lol: just kidding. i'm an ex as well. i bought a knife from this seller long ago and it was buffed to the extreme as well. he sells a lot of knives that look like that.

Well, I'm the newbie so I'll sit back and learn as much as I can. This looks like a terrific forum; thanks to y'all for the warm welcome!
