S&M SAMBAR STAG
Here's a Large Coke bottle with Sambar Stag scales. I was wondering how many other pattertns S&M came out with back in 2005? This one is one of my favorites.

Re: S&M SAMBAR STAG
What a coincidence. It was just last week I picked up the 'Split Back-spring Carpenter's Whittler' from that series.
They're gorgeous knives. Congratulations on that Coke Bottle.
2005 was Series XV and they released:

Thanks Jerry
Isn't that stag something? I am a sucker for all full sized hunters as well.

The stag in that series is really something, at least the one example I have. The stag is what sold me on the knife and I see yours looks just as good.

Gotta tell ya Royal, not a clue. Some name Queen marketing came up with? Kinda cool but I've never heard it before either. (which in the grand scheme of things doesn't mean squat)

Still learning all the different pattern names. Or at least what different co's call the same basic design.

I'm no genius by any stretch of the imagination but I've learned a lot since I began haunting the halls of AAPK. Recognizing patterns and blade shapes are two I've learned. I still don't get 'em all but it gets better as time passes and I see more knives.

That's some real eye candy there, Waz. Not really sure though where they're going with that "single spring muskrat" business. I've never seen a muskrat that wasn't single spring.

i may be all wet, but in the camillus knives, the muskrat has rounded bolsters, and the yankee muskrat has bolsters that are squared off..................
