To the best of my memory this is the highest price I've saw a vintage Remington cutlery 1/2 dozen knife box bring. A bit over $90. I've got a few dozen old Remington boxes and this one was the rarer variation.

Don`t feel bad, I have been outbid on several boxes this year by some guy paying ridiculous money for them 
I do believe one just like this one came up earlier this year or last year on fleabay, it too went high
