Remington scout knife bail replacement
Remington scout knife collector brothers, I need some guidance. I am wanting to replace a broken punch blade in an RS3333 scout knife, but it looks to me like there is a hollow pin on the bail end. What is the best way to rebuild that end of the knife so as to accommodate the original bail? I would rather leave the broken punch blade than take a chance on butchering up this fine piece.

I've saw some welded blades that looked authentic. I'm not sure if you're against that type repair or not.

So I messed up. I apologized to the seller and bought the knife. It now lives at my house where it will stay until I am gone.
