Dickinson bushman,s friend

I just bought this one in australia. its 9 1\2 inchs overall with a5 1\2 inch blade. it came with the original sheath and is in very good condition overall. i can find out very little about this company and nothing at all about this style of knife, so if anyone knows anything i would love to hear it. blade is marked dickinson in a curve over a crown then bushmans friend under.

I think that is E.M. Dickinson of Sheffield. Can you show a close-up of the stamp? That company was in business from 1880s to the end of the 1930s. Needham, Veall and Tyzac subsequently acquired the trademarks. I think it was a fairly common pattern. There is a similar knife in an early 1960s Wostenholm catalog. I hope this helps
