I've got TWINS, Lucky NO.13 (FACTORY ERROR)

Post by Iron Hoarder »

Not long ago I asked about this and figured I might as well buy both knives and sure enough I've got two GEC 1 of 25 No.13 model 563110EO knives. Anyone else ever find this on their numbered ones? Signed COA's included and I'm saving the receipts. So are there actually 26 of these or is one number in the sequence missing? Did this happen because of superstition or am I just lucky? However it happened I'm a happy camper. :) I'm going to write the company and see if I get a special prize. ::hmm::

I encourage everyone else to post a list of their numbered knives with model numbers in this thread and see if we can get some more pairs. I'm thinking about collecting number 13's. I wish I had the cash to buy the rest of this model that are still available on websites so I could see what numbers are left. I checked with all the dealers that had them listed and no one had any more No.13's

They actually came from two different dealers. I looked at all the sites to get the best price and noticed 13 listed twice so after confirming it wasn't a misprint I bought them both.

I have over 300 GEC's,..never saw that before. ::tu:: The engraver probably had a case of deja vu after that one,

Not only the engraver but the lady who filled in the stickers and COA. That's two people. The number 13 made me suspect a little superstition at play or a little joke.

Had the mistake been just one week later it would have been Friday the 13th.
