can anyone tell me who makes this knife? 5" closed. big and beefy lockback, rg73 over 440a stainless over usa. rigid in old script on mark side. delrin handles. nice leather sheath.

I also read that United owned the name & was beginning to have them made in the USA before they had their recent financial problems. They had plans to take the name upmarket as their premium line of cutlery I believe. Newer knives were made with natural handle materials and the one's I saw were nice looking knives.
