Northwoods Knives

Post by sunburst »

I was just wondering if ya'll have seen these new knives by Northwoods, they looked interesting..

Reverse Peanuts
Northwoods Knives style with a very limited run. If you blink you will miss these. These are done up with the same Schatt & Morgan finish we have all grown to appreciate. There is only 3 of those pearls know to mankind with presentation Grade scales. My pics do not capture the beauty. What an awsome pricepoint. Pearl and stag $ 59.85 each. Italian Jigged bone $ 51.85 each.

Lockback folders

Two lockback folders in 2 7/8" in the closed position with an overall of 5 1/8". When I got the knives the steel information from Ole Dave was not included. I am assuming that these are D2 or 1095. Maybe Ole Dave can chime in. The Stag lockback is a bit more meaty in the hand because of the thickness in the presentation grade Stag. Nice all around pocket knife that wont hurt the pocket book. Stag $64.85 and Jigged bone $57.85.

8) Hello! Ken. This knife was the only Scagel reproduction they have

made so far in ivory. Maybe they will make more in the future?

Mitch,
I too got one from N-Woods, one of the last 2 he had,,, I LOVE it. One to put back I think.
BTW, I saw "gangs of New York" last week, that is one hell of a gory movie. Daniel Day Lewis was bad ass with that clever, hey??? :shock:

nice toothpick ralph. that is my second favorite pattern. what's the closed length? i know how busy you are with the peaches, oranges, grapefruit, hogs and gators, so send it to me to babysit for a while. i'll give it lots of attention. ::drool::

Now Johnnie I appreciate you being so considerate and doing your best to "ease" my pain. But I could not burden you with my problems I think I'll hang on to this Texas Toothpick...At least until I can't take the pressure anymore.. ::mdm::

Here is the lowdown on the Toothpick;

Northwoods Single Blade Large Toothpick with stag handle. The 4" blade is D2 steel and the ricasso is stamped NORTHWOODS GLADSTONE, MICH USA. It is 5" closed and comes with a felt storage pouch. MADE IN THE U.S.A.
