the pioneer in spiral buffalo, the slim hogan in bone & the last pioneer in stag. the stag is a vinegar patina , hogan natural patina & the 3 year used pioneer with little patina even after cleaning several deer. i think the immmediate cleaning of knives after use will keep the finish unstained for long periods. i've used spit & shirttails at times to remove food or blood.--HiPower

This is a natural one.


I did this one with gun bluing, it was too dark for my liking so I lightened it up. Since then I have skinned out a deer with it and cleared some brush, the patina has darkened up a bit.


And finally some vinegar.

I had a lil chuckle Dennis...."spit & shirttails"...lol I hear ya brother,me and my partner got into some Black Buck Antelopes a couple weeks ago and I had left my fav. gut'n knife at headqrtrs so I had to use a custom folder I brought to show off,man I was spit'n and shining that thing..too funny
