Utility Knife

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Utility Knife

I came across this big utility knife on Ebay. I was surprised when I got it in the mail. It is a copy of an old Remington 4243 Utility knife. I've not been introduced to the Camillus Classic Cartridge series, but this is the same as a CCC-7, which is stamped on the back of the sabre clip blade. The sheepsfoot with the long pull is a real slicer too.
