Hey Meigscl,
I used to be a member. I think for only a couple years. The only thing that I gained from it was just a very little bit of reading material. That was it. To me it wasn't worth it. In all fairness though, I didn't take advantage of any of their exclusive member only offers. I'll bet it's better now than when I was a member. If you join, and if there are current members around here, I'd like to hear more about The Case Club as it is today. I may have to rejoin.

I have just joined the club for a one year run to test drive it. Hey for twelve dollars I figured what the heck. Besides, I collect the Case XX peanuts. I figured it can't hurt to try. I received in the mail a nice portfolio layout. Inside was a welcome letter, my pocket card, a list of dealers, a catalog of case products and the Case Collector magazine. I even went to the website and filled out an entry form for the Case Chopper from the OCC.

Case Collector Club
I have been a member for going on,now 3 years. I honestly haven't received any major benefit from my membership at all. As a matter of fact I'm not going to renew my membership next year. I'm a lot better off with my membership here than with the C.C.C. Now if you want to pay for a membership in a Club join the Case Classic Club. No I didn't get a pocket card or a little booklet that is merely an advertisement for Case from either AAPK or the Case Classics Club. but when I need help or answers to a question, I get straight answers here and from members of the Case Classics Club. Also both clubs have a family atmosphere whereas Case Collectors Club does not, In my opinion.

I belonged for many many years. Big surprise right!
The reading material I got back then was fantastic. I mean it was great. Things now have changed although they always do. If fact I sold on that information on ebay last year for quite a tidy sum. I am a pack rat when it comes to knives. I have learned related materials can garner more than the actual knives. I had the welcome packet with various goodies in it from the open house when Parker owned CASE. It was plastic bag with a case ballon, written info and a lapel pin. It sold for $50. I had a hard time beleiveing it too. So that's my story and Im sticking to it.
