Went junk hunting

Found a pretty 5/8 KRUSIUS BROTHERS. Used but in great shape




American Hone Works "AHCONITE" razor hone.

fine and coarse sided.


Today I found this old beauty. Wade and Butcher 7/8 "chopper" with original horn handles and brass pins. Got some hone wear and few bug bites
but it's all there.






Bit of rust up front.


I stole the W&B when compared to what those things are going for on ebay right now.

Nice junk. I gave away one of those Wade and Butchers in better shape than that to a Mod over on SRP when he helped me sell a seven day set I found ( it needed work). I wonder if he got it cleaned up yet.

Sure are some nice ones over there too.

I gave 30 bucks for that one. It just about sharp enough to shave with. I'm gonna leave it alone and run it as is.

The KB and the hone didn't cost anything as I traded a piece of junk that I'd been given in a trade for them. LOL
