I just finished this EDC. Some mild filework, lost the screwdriver, honey locust and flush fit pins. Still needs some work on the blade. Snaps closed unlike anything I have ever seen. I'm working on a "whole" TL-29, should be finished by the end of the week if all goes as planned.

I like the grain in Honey Locust.

Did you stabilize it? How hard is it?

Looks like great fit on the handles!!!

Thanks Jeff. I didn't stabalize it, it is a real hard wood, much like osagr orange or black locust. It isn;t quite as hard to work as osage orange though, the grain dosen't tend to rip nearly as bad if you file against it.

Does the Osage Orange, or Bois Darc (Bo Dark) as we call it in Texas, put splinters in you hands like the Purpleheart does.

I've never worked with purpleheart, but I don't seem to have a problem keeping my hands splinter free while working with osage.
