My latest creation

Post by glennbad »

I thought I had taken a before picture of the original knife, but I'll be darned if I can find it. Anyway, this one started out life as an Imperial camper/utility pattern. I slimmed it down into a single spring knife with a spear and punch.

The handle material is smooth hunter green bone from culpeper.

It's one of my favorite builds to date.

That is a beauty Glenn!
You are getting very good at this! ::tu:: ::tu::

I have avoided the Hunter Green, but I should have known it looks much different when it is worked!
VERY NICE work!

Awesome job Glenn - I love it when old things are given a new lease on life - I would be proud to carry a knife like this!

Absolutley georgious knife! Great job! The finish on the bone is really really nice!!! and those old Imperial blades are made with great steel. Great idea brought to life!!! "Creation" is the right word and the job is extremely well done!

Thanks for the great comments, guys. This was a fun project to do, alot different than the usual TL-29s I've been doing. I'm not usually one for colors like that green, but got a good deal from culpepper on it.
