Hey guys...
Not sure if I posted this in the correct area...but I have a question. Do any of you have any experience with / or have owned a Spyderco Harpy?
I have a chance today to purchase a new one (not the SS handles, the carbon fiber handles)...I was wondering:
Is this a practical / useful carry knife?
The blade shape has me puzzled...good for anything other than pretending I'm Hannibal Lecter?
I know Spyderco makes a good product...I guess I'm trying to think this through and see if it's worth adding to my collection / edc knives, etc.
Scary looking knife.

Spyderco Harpy
It would be good for cutting rope/cord. If you do this a lot it would be a good investment. If not I would probably go for a different model with a more traditional blade. Unless you really like its looks. Your call.
