The American Razor....Beautiful

Here is a Sheffield made razor with a fabulous eagle etch and a pressed and gold embossed horn handle.

The letter beneath the razor states it's been in the Gant family since 1867.

I doubt that's correct as the tang stamp includes the word "England", which was mandated by congressional laws passed in 1891.

This is not my razor, but it is currently for sale on the internet with a $350.00 Buy-It-Now price tag.

Probably worth it, too.
