GEC #53 Stockman Comparison Photos (for biglmbass**)

As you can see,all three blades on the Cattle Rancher are bigger,than on the Cuban (both are on the #53 frame ) so they sit higher***** the back springs appear to be a tiny bit larger also,

If you notice,the pattern numbers,on the knives,are different*****

#538308 Cuban Stockman_________the first (8) denotes,the main blade as, ""Muskrat Clip""

#531310 Catlle Rancher Stockman_____the first (1) denotes,the main blade as, "Regular Clip"

The sheep foot and coping blades are also bigger, on the Cattle Rancher,to match the main blade !!!!!

Just what I was looking for. Thanks. Knew the blade config was different, with a regular clip vs a muskrat style main but had no idea the secondary blades were wider. I think I like the looks of the 53 stockman the best given how all the blades rest tight to the frame when closed. I picked up one recently in stainless and I'm chomping at the bit to get one in carbon. Appreciate you taking the time for pics.

I'd like to thank you Monk as well. I have a few of the #53 Cuban Stockmans and think I prefer their set up a little more than the rancher

Yep_____that's my feelings,also Trand !!!! the Rancher blades,seem a little ""TO BIG"" for the frame, and adds extra bulk & weight, to the pocket*** but,if you use the knife,for heavy projects, (maybe on a ranch ??? ),the bigger blades,would suit the purpose
