I have been doing a little knife tradin'

Post by TKC »

I have been doing some knife trading this week!! I am getting my first custom for 2007 is a Mike Obenauf small model 2 framelock with a clip point blade. Handles are made from thick titanium and the blade is CPM 154. Blade length is 2 3/4" and OAL open it measures around 7 1/8". I did a trade with NCBlades. Thanks to him, I am getting my first Obenauf! This is an amazing knife!! The handles are thick titanium, which I LOVE. The blade is wicked sharp. It also has dual thumb studs; which is something I really, really like on a knife. This is a fantastic knife!! I can not tell you how much I LOVE this knife. I love this Obie so very much, that I traded another one of my knives to get another Obenauf!!!! It looks like I am going to have a very Obenauf B-day!!! (My B-day is 01/12)

Here are the specs. on the second Obenauf that is coming home to me. (The one that came today has the same specs., except that it has a clip point.) Obenauf small model 2 framelock with a drop point blade. Handles are made from thick titanium and the blade is CPM 154. Blade length is 2 3/4" and OAL open it measures around 7 1/8".

I am thrilled that the second Obenauf arrived on the 12th, as expected. I LOVE Mike Obenauf's knives. I am a sucker for titanium & framelocks. These knives have both!!

8) TKC Very Nice! Do you ever cut anything with your high end knives, or

do you just keep them for display?

Here is a picture of the 3 Obenauf's that I have acquired. I LOVE them. The newest one, is the bottom knife in the picture; it is a model 4.

I got myself a Obie #4 and it arrived today.
Same quality fit, finish and price as a Sebbie, but with lots more character.
I love it.
