I just got this back (well a week ago

) and just went out back and took a few pictures. I did a real lousy job of capturing the color on the Black Lip Pearl.

On this one Mike Pardue did the engraving and and Jeff Jones did the filework and put on the Black Lip Pearl. Looks like I forgot to take a picture of the filework,

but I think they both did a great job.

If I waited to build a light box, I may never take another knife picture.

Now THAT is a RARE knife. Very cool there Hukk my man...

...and great work by both gentlemen.

Better send it down here to a DRY climate for storage...

Thanks Bill, I like this one, it is quite unique. But I think my son is drooling on it, it has kinda of a nice bling. It was going to be a solid piece of Black Lip Pearl, but Jeff found one end was only 1/16 inch thick instead of 1/8 inch. So Jeff's solution was to put a cigar band in it, which Mike did, then it went back to Jeff, then back to Mike for engraving before it came home. I think it may go to my son, quite soon.

No, he lives in Ohio, but he has seen the pictures. Actually in August, my oldest daughter will have a baby, so, I will be Gramps.
