I just got this mini trapper today and cant find any info on it like, year and of type steel. I know servtronics owns Queen but why is it wrote on the blade?

Up date-- Looks to be about 25 yrs old & in great condition. Does anyone know which stainless this is [440c].?

I think that they went to 440A by the early 80's or possibly by 1978-1979.

That knife is from Queen's "Chipped Bark" series that was made from the early 80's through about 2001 or 2002. I believe that the steel used in those was 440A but I have no way to know for sure.
