Indian Head knives?
I bought these knives which say Indian Head, Hand made in Germany check out the pics. The only info I found was that they stopped making them in Germany in 1957. Can any body give me any information? Thanks.

Re: Indian Head knives?
The "Indian Head" brand was first used by Buck Creek Cutlery starting around 1976 and it continued until 1989 . After the passing of Millard Burns (founder of B C. Cut.) , the brand fell to Frost Cutlery and I do not know if they ever used the "Indian Head" trademark , however , Clarence Risner acquired the rights to use the trademark sometime later and he continued to have them made in Germany (probably in the same factory as his German Eye knives) . I believe that the current "Indian Head" knives are made in China .

Welcome aboard.
I don't know anything about the knives but I sure like that little two knife folder you have them in. Where did you get that?

Howdy jmg,
I believe the Indian Heads that have C. Risner on the tang were manufactured sometime after 1990.

Put some Happich "Simichrome Polish" on a cloth and rub it lightly for a few hundred strokes and it will come right back! Finish off with a clean cloth.
