bulldog whittler

i have this bulldog whittler with a 1/8 inch thick master blade with two bulldog heads on the tang and blade eatch i was told it was 1 of 18 made im not to sure about that if anybody knows anything about my knife they could share with me i would sure appriciate it

that appears to be a 5th generation bulldog,with that tang and etch,this is the generation with the least collectors interest and would likely sell for atmost $35-40 with the box

They're collectable if you like 'em. I have quite a few 5th gen. dogs.

I think what he means to say is that they will never reach a high dollar value. Too many produced to call any of them 'rare'.

thanks mumbly,bulldog collectors didnt like tang stamp for one thing,thats why they went back to the fighting bulldog stamp on newer ones,plus quantities and handle materials, cant remember who made the 5th and 6th gen but the latest ones are made by gec

thanks for the info that is the only fifth gen i have i liked the 1/8 inch thick blade thats what made pick it up i have a few made by gec and a few first gen
