hey everyone,

i had just bought this HSB on the bay its a nice made knife a pearl wharnie whittler and
like her very much. Was wanting to know if anyone knew who was remaking these knives or
if they had any info on such?

that one has me stumped also, since they folded over 50 yrs ago, it looks rather new. the name hibbard carried on since then. but not all three on the tang stamp
maybe someone with hsb knwledge can shed light on that knife

thanks but has me wondering also it does not have any origin marks like usa or germany looked hard to see if etch may have been removed but does not look like it it is made very well has great snap and weight thought maybe true value aniversary issue
or commision but nothing on web i can find thanks for any info

Knife certainly does not appear to be an authentic Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett from before WWII. The tang stamp is one which I have never seen, and the knife itself appears to be modern and brand new. I would also love to know who made it.

Who ever owns the rights to the HSB name. Could be the Parkers

It's not a Bear pattern and they usually don't pin their pearl handles, otherwise that would be the first suspect. I'm thinking SMKW made in China.
