Why A Macro Setting ???

Do you really need a macro feature on your digital camera?? If you want the kind of detail you see below you do. The buffalo nickel was shot with a camera that cost under $200. but had a macro.

WOW! That is a great picture Gary. The last few you posted have been top notch. You are getting really good. ::tu::

I started constructing a new light box a couple days ago using some of the tips that Mr. Zalesky shared in his Knife World article. It needs some tweeking yet, but I think I'm getting real close to graduating to a new level. ...one step above really bad to just plain bad. ::nod::
