Vendors: Set up Friday evening, 6 to 9 PM, and Saturday and/or Sunday mornings, 7 to 9 AM.

We moved a few miles. The Forks Township Community Center, where we met in 2010, has tripled its rent and increased requirements for 2011. It limited tables to only 89. The new Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township is a similar modern facility, but it is anxious to support our growth. It is visible along the North side of US 22, between PA 33 and PA 248 (25th street), Easton, PA. Large parking lots and lawns surround it. Electrical outlets are available along walls. Bring extension cords and multiple outlet strips. Compliance with local, state, and federal laws is required. Though Pennsylvania is friendly to knife collectors, automatic knives are not normally allowed to be carried. Vendors may display only knife-related items. No guns or flea market items are allowed for sale. Show officials will approve displays. We are not responsible for any losses. The Community Center and the show halls are locked over night, with security cameras and an alarm service connected to the police department. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited anywhere in the Community Center. Self contained RVs and trailers may park overnight.
Call Discover Lehigh Valley for hotel reservations, 610-882-9200, or visit http://www.DiscoverLehighValley.com.

Advertising & promotion: We are again widely promoting this annual show in many knife, gun, hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports magazines, newspapers, and websites. We shall again distribute 12,000 flyers at other gun and knife shows, clubs, and shops. Visit our website, http://www.PAKnifeShow.com, and sign up for our e-mail list. E-mails will be sent to thousands of known knife fans, makers, dealers, collectors, vendors, etc. If you have a good place to announce this show, please forward this flyer and list the show on your favorite websites. This show is a repeat of our successful knife shows held in past years on the same weekend. Help us promote and grow this high quality annual show, at low cost to all. Then you can make more sales! Ask for more free flyers to distribute to fans and customers, and to display at your shop and other shows. The Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township, Easton, PA is convenient to buyers and vendors living in New Jersey, New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Around 30 million people live within 150 miles. We should again attract thousands of knife fans. The show will repeat next year, on the last full weekend in September, September 29 and 30, 2012.

Directions: Easton is on the Pennsylvania / New Jersey border, in the Lehigh Valley, 60 miles north of Philadelphia, 17 miles east of Allentown, and 75 miles west of New York City. The Charles Chrin Community Center is new and beautiful, with ample free parking. It is visible along the North side of US-22. For easy access, exit US 22 at 25th Street, also known as Nazareth Road and PA-248.

From US-22 East, going Westbound: Take US-22 to the 25th Street exit in Easton. At first traffic light (next to MacDonald’s Restaurant), cross 25th Street, continuing West on Sales Street 0.1 mile to the next traffic light. Turn right onto Northampton Street. Go West 0.5 mile to next traffic light. Turn right onto Greenwood Avenue. Go North 0.2 mile to second left. Go West on Green Pond Road 0.7 mile to entrance into Charles Chrin Community Center on left side at 4100 Green Pond Road.

From US-22 West, going Eastbound: Take US-22 to the 25th Street exit in Easton. At first traffic light (next to Burger King Restaurant), turn left onto 25th Street. Go North 0.2 mile to first traffic light. Turn left onto Northampton Street (next to Gulf Station). Go West 0.6 mile to next traffic light. Turn right onto Greenwood Avenue. Go North 0.2 mile to second left. Go West on Green Pond Road 0.7 mile to entrance into Charles Chrin Community Center on left side at 4100 Green Pond Road.

I-78 and US-22 run parallel, East and West, through Easton. I-78 does not connect directly to 25th Street. US -22 does. I-78 connects to US-22 via PA-611 and PA-33 in Easton. I-80 also connects to PA-33 near Stroudsburg, which goes South to US-22 in Easton. I-476 (PA Turnpike), PA-611, PA-115, PA-309, PA-209, PA-191, PA-222, PA-412, PA-212, PA-413, PA-32, PA-378, NJ-29, NJ-94, NJ-57, and NJ-46 all lead toward Easton.

Springtown is a few miles South of Hellertown and Bethlehem, PA, on PA-412 and PA-212, between Riegelsville and Quakertown, PA. Call President Bill Odor for details, 610-982-5773. Our Association’s annual knife show is the third Saturday of March.

Yes, plenty of tables. The new hall can hold over 300. And we can expand to an adjoining hall. Bill>>

Sounds like fun, but I think the 23 hour road-trip would kill me. You folks have a good time, and bring back lots of knifes to show off!

Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)

Steve: We are honored to have a famous author about Case knives. Be sure to erect a sign offering to evaluate or consult on Case knives. Bring some books to autograph and sell. Bill>>

I'll be there with bells on, only joking no bells but will be wearing a yankee hat and I'll have my 9 year old grandson with me. We are both excited to be going and he told me he has $$$$ to spend, cute as heck.

I will be bringing knives to sell or trade and 2 old wooden display cases that I bought years ago that I was going to strip and use but never got around to it, They are 39"X33". they would look great cleaned up.

If anyone is interested in them see me at the show they will be in my truck.

Eric it will be good to see you, is Russ coming with you? I wonder if Fran will be there???

Can't wait, Mike

To those who live in the area - do you think that the weather over the next few days will affect the show or the drive to get there? I have been watching the weather forecasts and it looks like a lot of heavy rain.

Thanks. My only point was that I have over 250 miles to drive so just concerend since I have heard of bad flooding that had occurred recently in that area.
