Boker Knife Steel

I have several Boker traditional, "Tree Brand" folding knives, as well as one or two newer models with blades marked "stainless." Does anyone know whether the unmarked ones are high carbon non-stainless? I have read that they are carbon blades, but they are only marked "Solingen." Thanks for any information you can provide.
