I've got two GECs in stainless, but want more. Here's one of my most favorite GECs. Both the 'pick and sixgun sport elk antler. My other is a #61 American Cherry half congress that I've been carrying for a few months but don't have a pic of.

I only have one, a #12 Toothpick.
I love this thing, it's a perfect trout knife, I love GECs 1095, but when your on the trout stream it's easier to throw the stainless in your pocket and not have to worry. The edge holding is also awesome, it's gone through a dozen or so trout, cut up some cardboard boxes, and a few other chores, and It still shaves hair off my are. So right now if I was gonna buy a new GEC it would be in 440-c.

Great Eastern Cutlery Company___is the company name---they make three different ""Lines"" or "'brands"" of knives___
1.Great Eastern (brand)___Acorn shield,440c stainless steel
2.Tidioute (brand)____Tidioute shield,1095 carbon steel___ opening price point,great knife,with no "extras",and no stag or exotic handle material
3.Northfield (brand)___Northfield Un-X-LD shield,1095 carbon steel, slanted,fluted,or ringed bolsters,swedge blade,Genuine & Burnt Stag,as well as the exotic woods___their ""cadilac model""____the Northfied Genuine Stags,will not have a shield,but it's included in the tube,as a "'Hat or Lapel ,pin""____below are some examples of all_____hope this helps,Monk ::tu::

Here are some group shots of my current collection of GEC 440c (with a little 1095 sprinkled in). Can't wait to add some lockbacks.
One thing to keep an eye out, I don't believe you can rely on just the acorn shields. They are 440c only if they have Cyclops Steel Works on the tangs. The fixed blades have acorn shields but are 1095. I believe all the folding knives with acorn shields are 440c though.
