zeke,

Don't know a single Moki collector...but do know a couple folks with a Moki knife as part of their carry rotation. They seem to like the knives...I think most of them are very nicely done (great materials and well made)...and they fetch a pretty fair price here in the U.S.A.

Here is an interesting site.....

You can download the language package...or, just click on the BLUE description and enjoy some nice knives.

Not a collector but I have one Moki. It’s very well made but they fall into an odd niche. Not really modern and not traditional. Mine is an old lockback Falcon I think it’s called. Small, heavy with a great action and a blade too small to look proportionate. I got it with a lot of other knives. I’m glad to have it but not something I would normally buy.

Used to own one
Regrettably had to sell it
My opinion was it was a excellent quality well made knife and I really liked mine
-( life is too short to carry a cheap knife )-

Look at the made-in-Japan Kleins. They seem to be made by Moki (the plastic handles are based on the Gemini line--don't know about the aluminum handled examples), and are MUCH cheaper.

I EDC a 44000BLK, 44002, and 44004. All are really smooth, and hold a great edge.

I used to own a Moki Colliope and I liked it so much that I bought another one a few years later. Both knives have since found new homes.

I also owned a Lakota Teal model that was extremely well made. Made by Moki but branded by a different company. Phenomenal attention to detail but I ended up selling it back to the person I bought it from several years later to raise funds for another knife that I “just had to have”.

Moki makes some of the best quality knives on the planet. Their fit & finish is a challenge to duplicate by any other company. I need to get another one and keep it this time.
