Ichiro Hattori - HA-02 Fisherman’s Lover

Post by Draac »

I had to buy at least one hand made knife from Mr. Ichiro Hattori, although one of his cheaper ones for sale. It's hand made by him and he is 70 years old amd what craftsmanship. I would have like to go for his best but I guess I'll be happy with this one. It's from the same site I bought the other knife in this forum from. http://www.japaneseknifedirect.com/Hattori.html

A Little about Mr. Ichiro Hattori and this knife:
Ichiro Hattori, 70 years old craftsman, was involved with knife making at the age of 18 when he joined his father's knife company "Masahiro". In 1971, he has opened his own workshop and started producing high quality Hunting knives for export with buyers brands including Kershaw, Browning, Beretta, Tekna etc.

HA-02 Fisherman’s Lover - Slim and Lightweight Utility knife ideal for Fisherman’s. 2-1/2" satin polished AUS-8 Chrome-Molybdenum and Vanadium stainless steel Semi-Drop-point blade is hardened to 58-58 in Rockwell C scale. Mahogany wood handle with two nickel silver rivets and lanyard hole on the end. Comes with dark brown Leather sheath with belt loop.
