Brass Handled Ka-Bar

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

Here is one we just got and I thought I would post it here. Kathy already posted it in the "metal handled knife" thread.

WOW! And here I thought the only brass knives like that were made by Remington. Your collection keeps surprising me (in a very good way). Thanks for showing!

Thanks guys, I never paid much attention to these, but Remingtons were what I recall seeing in the past, along with an occasional British knife. I liked this one so well, I bought a Maher & Grosh off ebay, and it came yesterday. Since it is not a Kabar, we will put it in the metal handle thread.
