Hello from NC! New Member
Hey Gents!
Recently found AAPK while researching an old collection (mostly 70s). I have to admit the buy was made blind and a gamble at best. All the great info here leads me to believe that I got lucky and I thought it was appropriate to offer up a sincere Thank You!

Here's pics of some of them, I'll try to post a few more this week. There's also several fixed blade models including some really nice handmades from the previous owner. Also my first time posting pics in a forum, we'll see how it goes!

Thanks again fellas', I appreciate it. I'll try to post a few more tonight. The details I have are pretty vague, although I'm sure many of you guys recognize them by a quick glance. If you see anything special, please let me know.

Anyone recognize these? I think the far right is a "Bolo" but I have no idea about the other two.

Re: Hello from NC! New Member
Thanks again for the warm welcome fellas.
Hey gmusic, I have to admit I am below novice level at this point. Heck, until a few weeks ago I couldn't keep up with my everyday carry folder. Funny though, now I find myself being so careful with these that my wife looks at me like I'm crazy.
I really like the Sidewinder & Lockhorn, but the Schrade Walden Display really gets some attention in my shop.

Welcome Lucky. Thanks for shedding some light on what went in that little Kissing Crane leather pouch that I found in a junk store a couple months back! Couldn't pass it up for a buck! Thanks!

The bolo is a model 1917 bolo. I believe the one in the middle might be a Zouave bayonet. If it is it dates from the Civil War. The top one I have no idea. Are there any markings on the one in the middle?

Alright! Does that count as my first contribution (I know its a small one but let me have my momentcaddyman1973 wrote:Welcome Lucky. Hey Searcher, thanks for the info. The one in the middle has these markings...
2999 - on the right side top of the handle
F.W. - on the rear/butt of the handle
The combination of terrible lighting and some of that fancy rust
Thanks again All
