Just bought a knife on good old ebay. Thought nice looking knife but don't know anything about it. Only spent $20, so don't think I went wrong. Main blade is stamped w/ VERITABLE BEACON. Searched it but nothing came up. Can anyone tell me about the knife.

Hi. I think it could Veritable Begon of Theirs, France. It is a very traditional French pattern. Seems you did pretty well IMO.
