Who made or contracted this knife?

Looking through a drawer - I found this red bone handle muskrat and the only marking is Beaver Brand USA. I can't remember where I got it, so I am asking if you know who made or contracted a Beaver Brand USA?

Could be an import. Can't find a listing for this brand. Beaver USA can be stamped on the tang as the wholesaler's business name, but there can be an easily buffed off etch with the country of origin.

Goins lists a Beaver Brand & Beaver Cutlery Co USA 1920-1930. Don't know if this applies to your knife but it might be a start.

Definitely a new knife, 1970's or newer, I have never seen that barand but agree that it looks like an imported knife.
