Glad to be here.

Post by jdracing »

I been looking around here for a long time.
Thought i would finally register and maybe post a few pictures or comments now and then.
that is if it's ok with all?
I collect a few knives, mostly into single blade trappers,or single blades in
general of any brand.
As long as i like the looks, and the way it's put together i will buy it.
I love american made, don't get me wrong.
But i am out of work and not able to pay the ridiculous price of some of the good
quality made american knives.
I have several foreign made knives that are well built and cost only a 1/4th. of there
american made cousins.
If you really think about it,most of the great built foreign knives are knives owned by
american companys just having them assembled where it's cheaper so the price
is less.
Most of the money from these knives staying right here in this country.
I know some frown, but it's all i can do to grab one of those now and then.
I do have several american made knives i traded for,or bought before the jobs
left,and i lost mine.

Please don't get upset with me for not being able to buy the nice stuff anymore.

My favorite knife is a Schatt/Morgan I traded for on another board.

Thanks again for having ole poor boy like me in the midst, that is if you will. :|
