The pocketknives for the most part are German made, in the Boker factory. The quality is very comparable to Boker (i.e. good) but they come mainly with 420HC stainless blades, while most Bokers come with 1095 high carbon steel.

Hi. I have quite a few Boker knives a few Henkels knives. Even though they are made in the same factory, it seems to me that the snap, especially on opening, is not as good on the Henckels compared to the Bokers. Anyone else have a similar experience? :) s-k

Bokers, Henckels, and the better Hen & Roosters seem to be very comparable on all I have handled. Boker / Henckels are more reasonable than HR's. The Henckels lockbacks are very nice and much less expensive than Bokers. Generally Henckels has at least a red bone in each pattern in carbon.
