Should I restore?
I have a older Case whittler. I am a new collector and from the research I have done it appears that this is a 1970-71 jigged bone whittler. (Please see pictures) As you can see the third blade is missing. From what I can tell this is a cut-off pen blade. I am looking for some feedback as to what to do with this knife. Should I leave it as it is or try to restore the blade?

Re: Should I restore?
I personally would have a 71 blade put on it. Thats a nice knife and it has some value. The other blades look in great shape and as long as the rest of the knife is good, I say do it.

I guess the next question that I would have is do you know where I can get this done?

Re: Should I restore?
There is a hand full of guys here that do that. Post a thread needing work done on a case knife and I am sure someone will get back to you.
