anyone recognize this damascus craftsmanship?

Post by cuttingedge »

hi there, first time poster here so please be kind :P

i am trying to find out more about my knife. its a few years old now, the guy i purchased it from said that he originally purchased it in England from a knife maker but cant remember who.

im hoping someone will recognize the work, i know the handle is made from asiatic buffalo horn with red and blue fibers inlaid and brass bands and pommel, there is some file work on the blade, also it has a full tang and im told its 512 layers. there are no other markings on the knife

hope my pics work ok

Can't see the pattern real well, bit it looks like Asian factory-made damascus to me.
