Thanks Sunburst. If you, or anyone else has a Schatt 1/2 whittler I would love to see it. I think they made one or two. How about you case guys... have any 6208s ?

Hi S/K,

Boker, hmmm...I think I remember something like this.
Boker name reverts back to Boker from Cooper Tools in 1986...Boker no longer has a presence in the U.S.A. so they then hook up with a young (established 1984) United Cutlery to make (and maybe import) Boker knives under contract. Boker later reestablishes an entity in Colorado (mid 90s ??) thus ending the relationship.

Not 100% on the timeline...so maybe someone can correct where necessary.

Hi El Lobo, that helps fill in some gaps. I think Boker USA discontinued production in N.C. in 1984 and then the name was bought back by the German co a few years later. Maybe this was produced in the intervening period?

Seeing all these fine half whittlers made dig mine one (I think it is the only one I have).
It is a Schrade Walden 766, (of course pre '73).
