Checking in from Louisiana

Post by soileaux »

Just dropping a line to say hello to all. I am new to collecting knives. I have always had one to use but since i have inherited 9 or 10 from my grandfather (which have been stored away and until recently started to look at what i have) a small collection has started. I am sure i will be picking your brains about what year and how much and what is it later on.
I look forward to hearing from yall. Thanks for having such a nice web site and keeping it loaded full of information. I will try to catch on to all the new lingo as well.

Welcome!!

All we need now is Sonny Landreth, Allen Toussaint, and some Blackened Voodoo for the party.

Hi, soileaux...
Wewlcome to the Club. Glad to have you. Lotta Folks here that know a good bit about knives.
We are also looking for input from you. Everybody has something to offer.
We are going to be in Natchitoches, next week end. We heard there is a good Cajun food place in Alexandria. We might even run over there.
There will be 10 or 11 of us. Five are coming over from England. It's their first trip to the States and we would like to show them a good time. What would you recommend??? We have found an alligator show, some Indian dancing and Roctoberfest. What else would be good and fun , around close? Thanks in advance.
