Hi Guy,
I noticed in one of your posts where you said that you weren't familiar with Mexican bocote. Bocote in itself is a beautiful light brown wood with streaks of black running through it. Mexican bocote (in my opinion) has it beat hands down. The streaks are like the difference between vanilla (which I like) and vanilla with those little pieces of the vanilla beans you can see inside it. A quick ebay search will show you the difference, but the Mexican bocote is just plain beautiful whereas bocote is extremely pretty. I feel like I'm not doing the difference justice here (we'll blame my English teacher), but once you compare the two I hope you'll see what I mean.
