This is the site of the orginal CASE Brothes plant in Little Valley NY. I would love to own this rascal and have it turned into an historical site. I would also love to have the chance to snoop through the place and grounds and discover all the hidden goodies.
i guess I can dream, unless someone wants to share the cost with me.

We can store our knives in it yes. Hang them on the walls all over the place ok. and no one tell us we cant !

I'm staggered at how little that place is going for. I live in So Cal, and you forget that there are any houses for less than $500,000. TWO ACRES!!!

That price makes me wonder what is wrong with it.

A place like that would sell at least $200,000 at auction around here, by just looking at the picture, brick, land & creek description. Not to mention the history.

Here in Eastern MT I bought a 4 bedroom home with 2 car garage for $69,000. All about location, location, location.

If you really want to do it. It will take a few bucks up front. A real estate attorney could draw a quick plan for a hundred shares at 1500 per. That should cover acquisition and renovation. You already have a person on here committing to 20 shares, I will take a couple. A museum sounds like the best Tax consequence. Let us know. I believe it has a barrel of merit.

That could be a time share thingy too. Whats the winters like cold and SNOW ? Looks close to Lake Eri. Could rent out for fishing tripes ?
Looks nice for a retirment home. I could cut the grass on my ridding lawnmore. Mite use it for my summer home?

It appears that we missed out on this one. But I want all to know that the Cat plant that is located in the same town of Little Valley will actually have the chance to relive its past. Neat place in itself. I spoke at length with Brad Lockwood of the "Case Dynasty" book and it appears that the Cutlery Museum that is now in Little Valley is trying to obtan the plant and move to it. PLease visit their web site to learn more about it. I recommend that if possible consider a small donation help this worthy cause. The Old Case plant could be next for them. Who knows. Guess we should have bougt it ourselves.

I gotta find that link first though. Sorry. If someone gets it before me, please post.
