WTB Queen Classic Mountain Man

Post by tank »

Hi Guys,
I'm wanting to buy a Classic Mntn. Man and a Classic Whittler in stag or red stag. I have searched the web up and down with no luck. If anyone has one of them for sale or can point me to someone who might I sure would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks in advance.

Hey sunburst, thanks! I checked Mr Bill's site first, saw that beauty, but I'm looking for the D2 Classic. If I don't find one I may go ahead and purchase the 1095 series. If I researched right only 50 were produced in the classic line
Heres Mr. Rods article on them.

And heres one I missed on ebay last night, by a few dollars. The guy selling was off on his info a little but it was the Classic.

Great article, I really appreciate you sharing that. I have two mountain man models. One is the File & Wire series Schatt & Morgan and the other is a Queen collectors club stag 1 of 50. I just ordered the Queen stag in fact and am still waiting for delivery, the picture is from the store photo.

I checked all my knife store links for you and had no luck.

Here are my knives.

Thanks again for sharing...

Stag Classic...

Post by CCBill »

Hi, Tank...
I have a 53091 Case Classic, whittler. About as mint as you will find. Dark stag, in the box, with COA.
Sorry the picture is not good. This knife is spotless. If you don't like it, I will even refund your postage on this one. It's that nice.
Please let me know if you are interested and I will make you a price. I tried to send you a PM, but they don't always work for me. Let me know...

Hi Tank,

No problem on sharing where I bought the Queen from, matter of fact it was the first place I looked while trying to help you. I bought that from Sooner State Knives, a great knife store with a wide variation of knives to purchase from. They also have great pricing, great communication and ship very fast.

I am not through looking for you yet, we might just luck up and locate you one yet.

Thanks,

Sunburst

Hey Tank,

I'm sorry you missed that one ::doh:: , I was hoping he had more available..I was not sure if that particular knife would be labeled as a classic mountain man or not and it did not say if it was D2 steel either. I had been watching that particular one for sometime and actually had it in my wish list file of drool pictures...I was just attracted by the stag and it's sharp style...

I was going to forward those questions to a Schatt & Morgan forum I visit and also ask if they knew of someone who might have a classic for you... :)

WTB Queen Classic Mountain Man

Post by justold52 »

Queen Classic but not a Classic Mountain Man.
This one just dropped of at my doorstep.

It’s my first Queen Classic. One of 50, but I can't find any # on it telling what it is?
It's should be a Queen model #60 GENUINE RED STAG.
The box says Red Stag but the knife does not say any thing?

Looks Super, Fells Super, Smells Super, and Tastes Super too. ::drool::
Man the Stage is SOOOO even matched it all most looks fake. ::nod::
The color is out standing one both sides. :o

I would say this is one Super looking RED STAG. ::ds::

Some one here just got one about 3 weeks ago. I forgot whom? Was it Roger?

Hi Tank,

I can't believe I missed your great pics from a few weeks ago, fantastic looking knives. You are making me have a very bad case of puddle drool... ::drool:: ::drool::

::huff:: I am very mad though...I can't tell you how many auctions I have lost while trying to pickup a Stag Cotton Sampler I just know that you and I had to go against each other in pursuit of that beauty...I now need your help in trying to find one of these baby's... ::nod:: Your stag MM Queen Classic is a thing of beauty..I am very glad you won the auction, good deal... :D

Justold,

You picked up a beautiful knife there, I have eyeballed those for a while but have not had opportunity to be as lucky as you my friend..Thanks for sharing her with us and enjoy...I know you will....

I surely will Sunburst, I got mine from a guy that I had lost a previous auction to. One was on ebay last week but the bidding got drastic, to me, at 150+
I will do my best in helping you find one.
Lovely knife justtold, I've eyeballed those before.

Thank you all for your nice words.

I still don't know why Queens did not stamp the model number on the blade!
Do they stamp them on the folding knives? :?

That S & M looks like I want one of them too.
oops no more room on my want list. ::disgust::
O well I will just make a PAGE 2. lol
