My first love, Muskrats

Post by muskrat man »

Ok, Ok. I love the muskrat pattern, it is my favorite and i have several, not nearly as many as I'd like ot have, but I can see to it the collection grows :). Let's see some of your muskrats? I will have pics of mine up soon, the digital camera is dead after 100+ shots of stockmen, that I only got about 12 good pics out of, so I'll have some up later tonight.

Thanks sunburst. The Caribbean picture was taken in March and the 87 was taken in April of this year. It feels almost like winter now, 50° here.
Nice one you have there El Lobo. What brand is that, I can't make out the stamp.

Ok guys, here we go. First off, let me warn you, my pics are not of the best quality, but I think I am close to a good light setup for this cheapo. Anyway, first off if my #1 favorite in my collection, it is a schrade 787, walden stamp and the single backspring, most 787's have dual backsprings. Next is an odd piece, I wasn't even sure what I had at the time I purchased it. We determined over on the shcrade forum that it was a lunchbox knife. The frame and handles are of a knife from the 50's with a newer blade, and extensively fileworked. What was most unique to me at the time, was that it was a single blade. Then next up is a 65-69 case moose, like an overgrown muskrat I suppose :). I got this one off ebay a month or so ago, I was kinda blind to what I was actually blid, but at around $30 I won it, and was quite pleased when I got it.
