Case XX knife value

Post by remington collector »

I've got a Case fixed blade knife that I would like to know a rough value on. On 1 side of the tang it says Case XX over .SS. over USA. All the s's are squiggly looking. On the other side it says P62- 4 1/2 over SS. The knife is in near mint condition with a few light usage marks on the blade. It has a black basketweave sheath with a snap and a spring steel belt clip. Any ideas?

that is a boot knife and in near mint condition is worth about $80. if you still have the riverboat box it came in, it's worth over a $100. it was made in the eighties. i have been trying to buy one in the box for a couple of years.

Very good, thanks for the info. Thats much more than I expected. Too bad I don't have the box to go with it. I'll try to get some pictures and list it on the knife trading forum in the next day or two.

oh yeah, the boxed set included a case garter belt and the theme was riverboat gambler type boot knife.
