old knife
I'm trying to get some info on an old case pocket knife. The tang is stamped Case over the XX w/ no dots or other markings. The knife has two blades and is small. Only about 2.5 inches when closed and very narrow. Looks like some type of imitation mother of pearl. Could be real but I do not know. The longer blade has the Case XX marking on 1 side and the numbers 923 on the other. These are the only markings on the knife. The handle does not have the trademark case oval on it. I cannot find any info on a knife with the numbers 923.

I am going to guess that you have a two bladed, imitation pearl/cracked ice handled 33 pattern. Is it possible that there was another 3 that has been worn off? The 9233 pattern is just over 21/2” and matches your description. As for the tang stamp, check the link below.
