I know nothing about Bulldogs but I saw this one on Ebay and thought...what ta heck. It arrived today and seems like a well made knife. I havent taken any pics yet. The pics on ebay aren't very good. The knife does need cleaning but I don't to remove the etch. All tangs are stamped with fighting dogs and the master is etched Pit Bulls Trade Mark also with fighting dogs.
Is this a newer one or an older one?
The back of the master is stamped Bulldog Brand-Hammer Forged-Solingen Germany. Here's the link...did I get took?

Thanks in advance.
My first Bulldog.

Jonet143 is right on target with this knife. It is a 1st generation bulldog released in 1981, back when Charlie Dorton ownwd the company. In mint condition this knife should bring around 100.00 or so. It was the only 1st generation bulldog made with the yellow handles. I say you got a good deal and also a good knife.
