I swapped for this at our local trade day, today. It was just too nice to pass up. It is about 11 & 1/2" over all. Brass guard and pommel, spacers are red, brass and ivory colored. Handle looks like either rosewood or walnut. Beautiful damascus pattern, nice file work down back of blade.
The tang is hand engraved, K. HOEHN, all in capitol letters. Has anybody ever heard of this maker? He does really nice work.
Sorry about the lousy pictures. One of ya'll may have to come to Texas and teach me how to take better ones.
I left one of the pics dark, so you sould at least, sorta, see the grain.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Only two things are infinite, the Universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Hey CCB;
Really nice looking knife. here are my newest treasures from the past couple of weeks. I put the folders in general and a British in rest of world.
Top is an early hunting/fighting knife. Unknown maker so far, 2nd another 1938 carcano folding that needs repair. 3rd A really special to me german 1884/98 made in 1938 it and sheath are both dated, this thing has proof marks all over it. next is An ersatz german or czeck k98 or vz 24 I dont care as it fits a Brazilian Mauser I just got. Needs handle. Bottom is an early japanese arisaka 30 straight guard blued in great condition.
Wish all these guys could tell stories. Just imagine the winter evenings listening.
