Simichrome on Titanium Nitride coated blade

I have not used "Simichrome" until last week.
Should it be used on "Coated" and Satin blades?

I wouldn't use it on black coated blades such as Titanium Nitride, BK1 Benchkote, etc...

Semichrome is a mild abrasive. Repeated or harsh use of it will start to remove the original finish. Are you having rust issues of some sort? If you just want a protective agent, I'd go with Ren Wax.

Thanks Bryan, they are new, so it will be Ren Wax only.
